Will this phone truly keep my identity anonymous?

Yes. The phone’s software allows for anonymous and encrypted calling and SMS texting. You can switch between multiple aliases with phone numbers from across the globe. Web browsing is also anonymous.

WhatsApp and Signal are end-to-end encrypted - Can I use these apps instead?

Secure messaging apps like WhatsApp, Signal, Wickr, and others only encrypt the contents of your messages and calls. Anyone monitoring the connection can still identify who the message was sent to or from, what date and time it was sent, and if it was a text message or voice call. Also, most of these apps are not anonymous, requiring you to sign up using a phone number that can easily be traced back to you. The biggest issue with popular secure messaging apps is that they do not protect any aspect of your communications – including the contents of your messages – if your phone itself is compromised by another hack.

How many devices do I need?

We recommend a device for every member of your family if this is for personal use and security. If this is for corporate use, we recommend a device for each individual who travels with sensitive information or travels to environments where cyber threats are high.
